There are a couple of options for getting to the Marquesas. Most travellers here are actually sailors but, don't worry, you don't need a sailboat or a catamaran to visit. There are also regular flights from Tahiti to both Nuku Hiva and Hiva Oa with Tahiti Air. If you plan on visiting both islands, your best bet is to buy the Tahiti Air Pass.
